Casual Day is celebrating 30 years on Friday, 6 September 2024, with the theme “I See You”. The Casual Day team explains the theme:
“‘I See You’ transcends the ordinary act of seeing with eyes. It’s about recognising the inherent worth, dignity, and uniqueness of each of us. Seeing the challenges, seeing the potential, seeing people for who they are. We urge everyone to look beyond the surface and truly acknowledge the essence of each person that makes up the rich tapestry of our nation.”
Funds raised through the event go towards supporting several organisations for people with disabilities, including the QuadPara Association of South Africa (QASA). To participate in the day, and support the disability community, purchase your Casual Day sticker or merchandise from the Casual Day shop. Orders can also be placed with QASA.
