Johannes Skhosana worked at the Lat Wiel Self Help Centre for quadriplegics for almost 30 years. He retired at the end of January, aged 66. “Prompt, hardworking, caring, loving, reliable, honest and friendly” – if we hear these words, Johannes comes to mind. He started at Lat Wiel as a cleaner and he chose to get more involved and help the residents who needed care. Management soon realised that Johannes would make an excellent caregiver and sent him on several training courses. We salute you Johannes – thank you for your dedication. You left big shoes to be filled.
