Some people brighten the world around them. Fatima Zahra is one of these people
The saying “dynamite comes in small packages” certainly applies to Fatima Zahra – a vibrant little seven- year-old girl who blasts through every challenge life throws at her.
The fact that she is more concerned about her socket’s specific shade of pink and the picture pins on her Crocs than about her wearing a below-knee prosthesis is all inspiring.
Her free spirit and abundance of energy enables this young lady to compete in traditional gymnastics competitions, attend a mainstream school, and participate in all the exciting activities associated with it.
Fatima jumps, spins, hangs and rolls her way through this world as a young amputee with a zest for life and an exceptional story!
Watching her is all inspiring. In the life of a prosthetist, you sometimes come across patients who make you feel like a better person after a treatment session, having spent a bit of time in the particular patient’s world. Fatima is one of those patients!
And of course mom, dad and her siblings are beside her every step of the way. What a special family!
