The Upside (2017) featuring Bryan Cranston and Kevin Heart will be screened at the Bishops Diocesan College on Saturday, 7 February 2026, as a joint project between Bishops, The Enable Centre and Zimele NPC.

The screening will be a picnic-style event. Attendees are encouraged to bring blankets and fold-up chairs. There will be food and drinks available from various vendors, including the Truck Norris Food Truck that services gourmet burger, Pancake Truck with fresh pancakes and coffee, Kirsten’s KickAss Ice Cream, popcorn vendors, and refreshments from the Bishops Rugby Club.

The evening will be wrapped up with a lucky draw that will include prizes such as a Rovos Rail experience, a luxury stay at St James Hotel, a paragliding adventure, Noordhoek horse riding, Beaumont Wine Club membership, and more.

The proceeds will support Zimele and Enable to extend their impact and assist people with disabilities. Zimele is dedicated to empowering amputees from disadvantaged socioeconomic backgrounds in South Africa by providing expert prosthetic fitting and specialised gait training.

Enable Centre is an outpatient physical and cognitive rehabilitation facility in Cape Town offering interdisciplinary care from a team of biokineticists, physiotherapists, occupational therapists, speech therapists, and psychologists. Enable’s non-profit arm, the Enable Initiative, runs the vital Equal Access Programme, which aims to make rehabilitation services accessible and affordable for all.
