QASA has launched its “Eish” Campaign 2017. The campaign focuses on key issues faced by people with physical disabilities such as transport challenges, limited access to buildings, a lack of accessible parking and restricted access to the justice system.

“The campaign uses a wheelchair Lego man in various environments to identify problems and issues experienced by persons with physical disabilities,” explains QASA CEO Ari Seirlis.

Along with the social commentary, the campaign provides a contact number for South Africans to lodge a complaint, discuss an issue, seek advice and be heard. QASA staff members man the 0860 ROLLING (0860 765 5464) hotline from Monday to Friday (8:00 to 16:00).

“QASA will take note of each and every call, which will allow the organisation to interrogate the issue, provide a solution, have a call to action and respond to the caller,” Seirlis concludes.
