The Evo PT is a self-balancing mobility device from the United Kingdom (UK) aimed at assist people with disabilities and the elderly. The two-wheeled mobility aid has an Auto Safety Gyro System that balances automatically while the user’s body weight is used to control movement. A joystick or steer bar is used for turning.
The Evo PT can go on all terrains including indoor surfaces, outdoor paths, beaches and nature trails. It has a 20 to 38 kilometre range with on-the-spot turning capabilities. It can handle a 20-percent include and modest obstacles. It is priced at £12 640 (R285 938 excluding import taxes).
