Millions of South Africans celebrated Casual Day on Friday, September 4. Participants wore their stickers and used their imagination to express the theme, “Spring into Action”. Principal sponsor Edcon celebrated the occasion with disability awareness activities at its Edgardale headquarters in Crown Mines, Johannesburg.

The project is an initiative of the National Council for Persons with Physical Disabilities South Africa (NCPPDSA). Says project leader Vanessa du Plessis: “We would like to thank Edcon and all South Africans for their generosity and willingness to reflect on the purpose of Casual Day: to raise funds and awareness for persons with disabilities.”
