The Konke Gamers Adaptive Esports Tournament 2026 (KGAET26) will take place on 4 July. It is the first Adaptive Esports Tournament in Africa created in partnership with AbleGamers.
The event is designed to showcase the power of accessible gaming and provide a fully supported, competitive and community-driven environment for gamers with disabilities.
Core to the event is the adaptive esports tournament that will allow participants with disabilities to compete using specialised gaming setups and accessible technology such as adaptive controllers, assistive input systems and support stations.
A casual tournament for accompany guests and able-bodies attendees will also take place to ensure that everyone present has an opportunity to engage, play and connect within the gaming environment.

A key highlight of KGAET26 is its commitment to awareness and education. Through live demonstrations, hands-on experiences and direct engagement with adaptive technology, attendees are able to experience first-hand how accessibility solutions are transforming the gaming landscape.
Konke Gamers’ mission with KGAET26 is to continue building a future where gaming is truly inclusive, where barriers are removed, innovation is encouraged, and every individual is given the opportunity to participate, compete, and belong.
