A month till AfriNEAD

There is less than a month till the 7th AfriNEAD Conference is hosted at the Artscape in Cape Town. The event will take place from 30 November till 3 December, International Day for People with Disabilities, with an in-person and virtual event. This year’s conference title is “Positioning AfriNEAD: Rolling out Disability Research in Africa”.

The event provides for a knowledge sharing and networking opportunity for researchers, industry professionals, organisations and individuals in the disability community. The Conference will include plenary sessions, commissions for the AfriNEAD research, interactive panels and workshops – all linked online for those attending virtually. Additionally, there will be an exhibit at the conference and pre-conference event.

Pre-Conference Event

The pre-conference events will be held at the Artscape on the 29 November 2023 from 9 AM with three topics:

Post-Conference Event

The AfriNEAD Conference will also include a post-conference event that will be held at the Artscape on the 2 December 2023 from 9 AM with two topics:

    I was in a car accident 2 February 2019 where my life took a turn at the age of 17. I got head injury, spite and was diagnosed with neurological functional disorder( the brain do not function to the body in my case my legs). I was in depression for 2 years. Then I took part to part in the Atlantis Got talent where I was the only disabled person out of 49 contest and I won 2ed place but first out of all the singing. Then a few months after I took part in the Miss & Mr Atlantis where I want to brack the stigma amongs people with disabilities and I opened a title called Miss courageous of Atlantis. The I opened a soup kitchen and started making changes in my community. Then I was nominated MWI a International modeling organization to be croned on the 26th March 2022 as MWI Phenomenal Miss South Africa to compete in the international competition and that is there I was the only wheelchair person and everyone was downsindrom and normal people and I was crowned MWI Phenomenal Miss International

    I am a International model and a singer I sow the post on Facebook about the disabled event and I wanted to no if I can be a guest artist at your event for free all I will be needing is transportation for Me and my family
