The Adaptive Sports Fund (ASF) has announced its events calendar for the year. With adaptive mountain biking in April, adaptive skiing in July and archery in November, the year promises to be packed with adventure.
ASF is a non-profit organisation aimed at encouraging equal opportunities for people with disabilities to participate in sports and physical activities. This is done by hosting adaptive sporting days that introduce people with disabilities to a host of different sports and activities.
The first event to take place is adaptive go-karting K1 Karting in Boksburg on 8 March 2025. In the official invite on the ASF Facebook page, the organisation says:
“Bring your family and friends—everyone is welcome to participate! This is your chance to race alongside your friends and family, enjoy some fast-paced fun, and experience the thrill of go-karting in an inclusive environment.”
