The University of British Columbia, Canada, is conducting research to assess the priorities for the spinal cord injury community in recovery and the understanding of recently developed technologies, in particular, spinal cord stimulation as a rehabilitation strategy. The team as released surveys for people with spinal cord injuries, healthcare professionals and researchers.
This survey will be released to 18 countries to allow for cross-country comparisons. The results of the study will be used to guide future research and improve education and awareness on the health complications associated with spinal cord injury that most impacts on a patient’s quality of life.
