Each year, QASA members get an opportunity to attend an event hosted by SABAT Batteries to celebrate the partnership between the two establishments that has stretched for more than two decades. SABAT Batteries donate batteries to QASA members who use power wheelchairs.
This year, QASA was invited to the SABAT Batteries Zoo Day hosted at the Johannesburg Zoo. The event included a wheelchair race – as is tradition for many years – and an animal dash where teams raced through the zoo to photograph themselves at various enclosures.
A big thank you to SABAT Batteries for their continued dedication and support in keeping our members mobile, and thank you to all their members who gave it their best effort in the race and dash!
