The 2025 South African National Para Surfing Championships took place from 11 to 13 April in Durban. Surfers of all abilities gathered to conquer the waves and aim to make the national team. The team will be announced around June and represent South Africa in the World Championships at the end of the year.
One hopeful participant, Sue Martin unfortunately missed out on a top stop, but still enjoyed the day and vowed to return. She shares: “I had loads of fun and loved every minute of the weekend. I shall be back for 2026.”
