There is only a few days left to submit your application for the 2021 SAB Foundation Social Innovation and Disability Empowerment Awards. The event celebrates entrepreneurs who are uplifting communities while addressing social or disability challenges. Winners of the Awards receive prize money and mentorship to take their businesses to the next level.
While the SAB Foundation looks at viable businesses, it is not necessary for the business to be already established. SAB Foundation director, Bridgit Evans notes: “Over the years, we have seen entrepreneurs who had barely more than an idea when they started with us, go on to reach national and even international significance in addressing complex social problems in efficient and sustainable ways.
“With the world being where it is right now, we are excited to see what emerges through this application process,” she adds.
