Quad Gods is an all-quadriplegic e-sports team that was formed after Dr David Putrino worked with patient Chris Scott. A skydiving accident left Chris paralysed from the neck down. He was battling to adjust to this his new normal. Dr Putrino discovered Chris’s love for gaming and reintroduced this passion with the use of adaptive controllers.
Soon, other patients with a passion for adaptive gaming also benefitted from the programmes Dr Putrino put in place. In an HBO documentary, the Quad Gods share their experiences and journey.
