The 2023 Casual Day will be held on 1 September 2023. This year, participants are encouraged to share a smile in support of people with disabilities.
“As the famous lyric goes: ‘You are never fully dressed without a smile.’ This rings especially true for those who face ongoing challenges in an inequitable world. A smile is a start to breaking down barriers and bridging the gaps that society creates. A smile is a universal language of support, positivity and unity. It can bring hope to those who feel alone and remind us that we are seen, heard, and valued,” the official Casual Day website states.
